Dr Russo and his staff Rae and Nathan are the most friendly , knowledgeable and compassionate people that I have had the pleasure to meet. I was already suffering from lower back pain when I first came to this office and they quickly had me recovering. Then I fell and had to go to the hospital, where they did an MRI and said I would need surgery and 3 months to recover. Thankfully after about 10 days of treatment at this office, I was walking again. I am so so thankful for the care I am receiving at HealthSource of James Island and can't say enough about how wonderful they all are. .

I've been to dozens and dozens chiropractors over the course of a decade. Doctor Lee is the most legit chiropractor you will ever visit HANDS DOWN!! Multiple accidents have destroyed my lower spine to the point a good quality of life was only dream to me. I'm in the process of moving to Charleston from NY where I thought I had a wonderful chirpractor. I found Dr. Russo by accident, he's next door to my pet food store, and decided to give him a try.

Not nowing what to expect, I am very pleasantly surprised by the level of caring and expertise.

He takes a different approach that includes some physical therapy as well as adjustments. Skeptical at first, I have come to believe in him and how he practices the art of chiropractic. X-rays, conversation, and a plan for getting me back into proper alignment. It's been a great journey. I stand more erect which has positively affected my breathing, and I feel my body a bit more flexible. And best of all, no pain. I know this will continue to improve as time goes by.

Dr Lee Russo helped me when I had already been to 3 other chiropractors who couldn't relieve my pain. One Dr just wanted to sell me supplements and never really did a full adjustment ever.

After several visits with Lee the intense pain I was in slowly vanished. I had horrible headaches due to neck pain. My lower back pain also went away as a bonus. He spent a lot of time with me getting to know my issues, what was causing my pain and or exacerbating it. He really cared whether I was feeling better.

Was in an accident a few years back, and I was referred here by my previous doctor. I was still in pain from a previous injury, but no one could tell from my mri what was wrong. He read my previous mri found what the old doctor hadn't seen and ordered a new one. He really looked at my 2 injury cases with care and looked at all available to me. If you have a persistent injury (or a new one)this is the place to go. It's not your typical chiropractor of crack and go.

The team at Axis went above and beyond for me. I was on vacation,visiting from Indiana, and had neck and back pain. They got me in the same day, aleveated my pain and said if I had another issue to just call. They even called my chiropractor in Indiana and talked to him about my back issues 1st to make sure they knew what problems I had going on.
